The Sapphire Aquatic Centre (SAC) is located at Pambula Beach. It is proudly owned and operated by the Bega Valley Shire Council. This facility is the only indoor heated aquatic centre in the Bega Valley open for public use all year round.
Sapphire Aquatic Centre offers many services including:
Offering swimming programs to suit everyone’s needs. A recognised AUSTSWIM affiliated venue. All teachers and coaches are all fully qualified and undergo regular professional development.
The centre is also equipped for those with special needs. Onsite is a patient hoist, portable shower trolley and dedicated special needs/family change room. To assist with access, an aquatic wheelchair is available for use on the access ramps into the water.
The gym is open 7 days a week with a wide range of cardio and resistance based machines and free weights. Group sessions are also available to members.
